Providing opportunities for our local community
The Community Association is a self - funding Charity, Reg No 1191701.
The Community Centre was opened in 1967 and built as a place to provide opportunities for people in the local area to get together for social, recreational and educational activities. The Association works closely with other large and small businesses and organisations to provide a variety of activities for all age groups.
Today following a recent refurbishment it has two function halls and two business meeting rooms. It is a fully licensed venue with bar facilities in each hall and a members bar in the Orchard Lounge downstairs. The bars are run by a separate company, the West Drayton Social Club ltd which is also not for profit organisation and has an annual membership.
Supporting our Community
Both halls have their own tables and chairs for hirers use. There is a 44 space free car park at the premises, parking is on a first come first served basis.
We politely ask guests not to park in the access road on the double yellow lines as these are for Emergency Access.
Activities & Programmes
Yiewsley Community Centre plays host to many activities and programmes for our community to use, from Zumba to Karate. All can be used within the community centre.
